Shipping & Delivery Policy for Mrs. Sardarni
At Mrs. Sardarni, we partner with premium logistics providers to ensure your authentic handloom sarees reach you safely and promptly. All our orders are dispatched directly from our weaving hubs and warehouses in Santipur, West Bengal.
Please read our shipping practices below to understand how we process and deliver your orders.
1. Order Processing & Dispatch Timelines

Standard Orders: All orders are processed and dispatched within 24 to 48 hours (excluding Sundays and public holidays).

Customized Orders: If you have requested additional services such as Fall & Pico stitching or tassel attachments, please allow an additional 1 to 2 business days for dispatch to ensure perfect finishing.

Once dispatched, you will receive a tracking link via email and SMS/WhatsApp.
2. Delivery Timelines

Metro Cities: 3 to 5 business days from the date of dispatch.

Non-Metro & Regional Areas: 5 to 7 business days from the date of dispatch.

Note: Delivery times are estimates. Unforeseen circumstances like extreme weather, local strikes, or festival rushes may cause slight delays.
3. Shipping Charges & COD Fees (The Smart Buyer Strategy)
To provide the best value while covering secure transit, our shipping rates are structured as follows:

Prepaid Orders (UPI, Cards, Net Banking): Enjoy FREE EXPRESS SHIPPING on all prepaid orders across India. We highly recommend this option for the fastest and most seamless delivery experience.

Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders: A flat, non-refundable COD handling fee of ₹99 is applied at checkout. This fee covers the extra cash-handling charges levied by our courier partners.
4. COD Verification & Anti-Fraud Policy
To protect our business against fake orders and RTOs (Return to Origin), all COD orders are subject to an automated verification process.

You will receive an OTP or an automated confirmation call after placing a COD order. The order will only be processed once verified.

Doorstep Rejections: If a COD order is rejected at the time of delivery without a valid reason, your account/IP address will be flagged, and the COD option will be permanently disabled for all future purchases from Mrs. Sardarni and SEALIUM.
5. Incorrect Address & Unreachable Customers

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping details, including a valid phone number and pin code.

Our delivery partners will attempt delivery up to 3 times. If the package is returned to us because the customer was unreachable or provided an incorrect address, a re-shipping fee of ₹150 will be charged to send it again.

If the order was prepaid and the customer requests a refund after an RTO due to their unavailability, the two-way shipping cost (₹200) will be deducted from the final refund amount.
6. Missing or Tampered Packages

Do not accept any package that appears completely open, crushed, or visibly tampered with by the courier.

If you suspect tampering, refuse the delivery and contact us immediately at [Insert Phone/WhatsApp] with a photo of the package.

Once the package is marked "Delivered" by the courier, any claims of "not received" must be raised within 24 hours so we can escalate the issue with the logistics partner.
